LIST OF VICTIMS IN HOSPITAL

The following is a list of patients at the McKinney City Hospital, who were victims of the Melissa cyclone;
W. D. Speed, Denison Texas, conductor, H & T. C. Railway, head gashed lacerated wounds all over body.
M. C. Hanson, brakeman, H & T. C. Railway, 2410 Peabody Ave, Dallas, lacerated scalp wound cut by eye and back injured.
B. J. Hanson, 1820 Richardson Ave. Dallas, brakeman, H. & T. C. railway, lacerated wound of head, shoulder and hip injured.
G. W. Young, Melissa, farmer, shoulder broken, elbow shattered.
Mrs P. F. Loftice, Melissa, abrasion of head, shoulder injured, Her baby was killed.

The following colored victims are patients in the new City Hospital and are residents of Melissa.
W. E. Brown, left elbow wounded.
Harriet Wilson, lacerated wound of scalp and right cheek.
Corinne Hawkins, nail wound in side, fracture middle of thigh, right leg and hip; abrasion of forehead.
Derrell Tolton, lacerated wound of forehead.
Scott Thomas, lacerated wound of scalp, neck and abdomen.
Elloree Thornton, fracture left ankle, lacerated wound of left hand, nose and right leg.
Bessie Hawkins, lacerated wounds of face and limbs.
Lola Grace Lyday, superficial wound, right side.
Johnny Inez Clayton, lacerated wound of left hip.
Feliz Hawkins, badly injured generally,
Charley Perry, laceratedwounds of scalp, and face.
Jimmie Ruth Clayton, punctured wound both legs and right hip.
W. F. Hawkins, abrasion on hip.
Alberta Hawkins, fracture, right fibia.
Peter Clayton, lacerated wound of head and right arm.
Annie May Clayton colored, who suffered compound fracture of femur, died after reaching the hospital
Lizzie Perry, colored died before reaching hospital
