CONTRIBUTIONS POUR IN

All morning contributions were pouring into the relief committee and more is needed, stated Mr. Couch. Fifty telegrams were sent this morning to various points from Wichita Falls to Paris, telling of the plight of more than half of the people of the little town and asking for aid. Mayor Wozencraft of Dallas was one of the first city officials of the state to extend offer of help to Melissa, Couch announced. Prosper notified the relief committee to draw on the town of $150.00.
