The home of R. A. Long near Melissa was completely destroyed by the Melissa cyclone. In addition to losing his property, he also lost some valuable livestock. He is a breeder of fine Poland China hogs and Jersey cattle and is a well known member and worker in the Collin County Purebred Livestock Association. He is also a well-known fraternal worker.
