TWO INJURED IN MELISSA AT BLUE RIDGE

Mrs. Henry Myrick, injured in Wednesday's cyclone at Melissa is reported to be in serious condition at Blue Ridge to which point she was removed shortly after being injured in the storm. Her little son, 4 years old, underwent an operation yesterday for the removal of a piece of skull. The child's skull was crushed, according to J.R. Travillion and Arthur Nevil who went to Blue Ridge last night to visit the injured persons. Mrs. Myrick is reported to be injured internally and may not recover. She is practically helpless it is said.
Relief committees have been organized in Blue Ridge and more than five hundred dollars was reported subscribed last night. Mr. And Mrs. Myrick lost their home and its contents in the storm, he is a rural mail carrier.
