Contributions to the storm sufferers of Melissa, continue to be received here. Howell E. Smith, cashier of the First National Bank, received a letter this morning from the Dallas Cotton Exchange, enclosing a check for $200.00 for the relief fund. We are glad to be able to contribute to the relief of the distressed people of Melissa, wrote N.W. Nolley, secretary of the Cotton Exchange. The Dallas News today reports having received contributions of $1497.
