Elena Corma, a Mexican woman of Melissa was found among the debris on Thursday morning, almost twenty-four hours after the storm. She was immediately brought to the city hospital, and was reported today to be doing well. The manner in which the hospital attendants are caring for the victims of the cyclone is worthy of highest commendation. Everything is being done by these noble attendants toward the speedy relief of these patients. All patients, both white and colored are being shown every attention. Visitors from the local citizenship continue to make the rounds of the institution daily, in their endeavors to contribute cheer to the patients.
