E.R. HILL OF COLLIN COUNTY HIGHWAY
MAINTENANCE DEPARTMENT ASSISTS.
E.R. Hill, who is in charge of the maintenance department of the pike highways running through Colin County, has been rendering some valuable assistance to Melissa in helping to clear up the debris and wreckage of the disastrous cyclone visiting that little town six miles North of McKinney Wednesday afternoon April 13.
Mr. Hill who lives at Celina, maintains his office headquarters at McKinney and in carrying forward his work has leased fourteen army trucks from the federal government, Mr. Hill is a good man in the position of highway maintenance work which is a very important factor in prolonging the life of our pike roads. He promptly tendered the services of himself and the use of his trucks to the little stricken city of Melissa whose entire citizenship feels deeply indebted to him and all other sympathetic friends from every part of the county who have so willingly come to their relief and assistance in the appalling catastrophe that has overtaken them.
