McKinney people rushed to our little sister city to offer first aid. Hon. Clarence Meritt mounted the great heap of lumber in business district of town and called for subscriptions with which to aid the suffering and needy. The subscriptions came rapidly and in good size. A large amount of cash was realized in a very short time.
